Italy is known for many things. Incredible wine, amazing sports cars, breathtaking scenery, impeccable fashion, philandering politicians, beautiful women, historical architecture… the list goes on. But in many people’s opinion, the first thing to come to mind is the FOOD! A country full of culinary masters and rich tradition gives Italy the right to contend as one of the greatest food nations in the world.
With that in mind, it seems only fitting to dedicate a couple pages to the culinary experiences along our journey. I have divided the pages into two groups – restaurant dining and home cooked meals. We will risk the label of Ugly Americans and snap mouth-watering images of restaurant food in order to serve you, our loyal readers. We will attempt to post as many recipes as we can in Jen’s Kitchen. Above all else, we will try not to put on 30 lbs. while doing all this!
